FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: separator relates to power engineering and may be used for gas cleaning and cooling and gas drafting for electric power generation, fuel and heat production, and in petroleum, chemical and food industries for gas treatment and separation of fluid-gas flows. Separator comprises housing 1 with suction pipe 7, separated gas discharge pipe 8 and tar discharge pipe 5, and vaned wheel 9. Wheel vanes 9 are fitted on drive shaft 6 coaxially with housing 1 between cover cone 21 and bottom 2 coaxially with suction pipe 7. Housing 1 is provided with flow-through fluid jacket 2 designed to feed coolant 19 and to discharge hot fluid 20 and arranged around housing periphery. Besides, housing 1 is furnished with vortex chamber 13 and flange 22 with increasing width and groove 23. Vortex chamber 13 is arranged between fluid jacket 2, inclined bottom 4, separator cover 3 to embrace gas suction pipe 7. Wheel 9 is equipped with coaxial limiting ring 10 and extra vanes 11 arranged in vortex chamber 13 on cover cone 21.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, longer life, increased amount of generated electric power.
