FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of producing surface-active materials capable of forming and stabilising foam and emulsions, and can be used for coating, encapsulating and delivering medicines to places where activity thereof is realised, in household or personal hygiene, in the food industry, oil industry, agriculture, textile industry, construction, emulsion polymerisation, production of leather, plastic, cellulose pulp, paper and pharmaceuticals. The surface-active material contains fibre modified with chemical and physical agents in order to endow them with surface-active properties and provide them with a three-phase contact angle on the fibre/air/water or fibre/oil/water phase boundary between 60 and 120°. The fibre has an insoluble structure in form of solid particles and coefficient of proportionality ranging from more than 10 to 1000.

EFFECT: material has high stability and good biodegradation characteristics.
