FIELD: oral cavity care.

SUBSTANCE: inventions relates to a composition for the care of the oral cavity and a method for its preparation. The composition for the care of the oral cavity contains: a) a surfactant system, including: i. at least one nonionic surfactant; ii. at least one anionic surfactant; iii. at least one amphoteric surfactant; b) an agent that increases the foam, which is iota carrageenan, 0.05% of the total weight of the composition; c) a suspending agent, which is high acyl gellan gum, 0.15% of the total weight of the composition; d) an orally acceptable liquid carrier. Wherein, the specified surfactant system includes sodium lauryl sarcosinate, lauryl glucoside and cocamidopropyl betaine in a ratio of 40:40:20 and the content of the surfactant system is 1.0% of the total weight of the composition. The method for preparing the composition for caring for the oral cavity includes the following steps: a) adding the above mixture of surfactants, b) adding a suspending agent and an agent that increases foaming, c) mixing a mixture of surfactants, a suspending agent and an agent that increases foaming, with an acceptable for the oral cavity liquid carrier until smooth.

EFFECT: combination of the above components provides the formation of a foam with characteristics comparable to those of a composition containing a blowing agent; the use of the composition provides sufficient lather even after spitting, swallowing, or otherwise removing it from the mouth by the formation of foam that remains in the mouth as a thin layer covering the teeth, tongue or other surfaces of the mouth.
