METHOD OF DIAGNOSING THROMBOSIS OF DEEP VEINS Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A61B8/06

Abstract RU 2423921 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ultrasonic diagnostics. Examination is carried out when patient is in the state of quiet clinostasis. Scanning of region of valve sinuses of hip vein is carried out before and during performance of provoking Valsalva test and triple manual compression with sensor. Echopositive inclusions in regions of first and second valve sinuses are detected, degree of valve sinus filling with echo-positive inclusions and their intensity are estimated. If it is detected that valve sinus filling does not exceed 1/3 and echopositive formation disappears during test performance, higher thrombogenicity, corresponding to the first degree of disease, is diagnosed. If valve sinus filling is greater than 1/2 and echopositive formation disappears completely or its intensity decreases during tests, pre-thrombologic state, corresponding to the second degree of disease is diagnosed. If entire valve sinus is filled with echopositive formation, which does not disappear during tests, thrombosis of valve sinus, corresponding to the third degree of disease is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to carry out diagnostics of thrombosis of deep veins at early stages of disease.
