FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular to dentistry, and is intended for manufacturing prosthesis-obturator in all types of jaw resection. Anatomical impression is obtained with alginate mass by means of standard tray, which is used to make plaster model. Obturator is modelled on it by covering positive representation of palate defect with wax with simultaneous modelling of resected alveolar crest. Obtained composition is installed in oral cavity and fit by filling possible clearances with wax. Impression, used for creation of individual tray is obtained. Obtained tray is adapted in oral cavity, using known functional tests. Retention metal staples are installed into wax obturator fixed in jaw defect. Correcting layer of silicon impression mass is applied on obtained composition, after which impression by earlier made individual tray with introduced into it base layer of impression mass is obtained.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain functional impression from upper jaw for manufacturing prosthesis-obturator, in case if size of entrance hole into defect is smaller than diameter of defect itself.
