FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: proposed are two versions of design of the sensor wherein the sensor inner channel surface, having constant cross-section, is divided into a sensitive electrode and a grounded electrode so that to ensure the specified kinetics of variation of induced charge on the sensitive electrode in the process of motion of the charge being measured. The law of the sensitive electrode area distribution within the sensor perpendicular axis plane is selected based on a mathematical model of signal generation taking into account the law of motion of the charge being measured.
EFFECT: creation of a sensor design wherein, proceeding from the specified sensor output signal shape, one can determine the sensor electrodes geometry; enhanced accuracy of mineral triboelectric charge sign determination, enhanced performance and separation selectivity by way of reducing the probability of false decision on useful mineral detection combined with simultaneous record of signals from two or more oppositely charged minerals.
