FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming, particularly, to plastic deformation of materials by equal-channel angular moulding. Proposed device represents split female die. Top half-die with central ledge has vertical channel made at certain distance from said ledge and bottom half-die has horizontal channel. Note that said horizontal channel features arc-like shape and variable section equal to that of billet. Note also that said bottom half-die may rotate.
EFFECT: hardened arc-like metal billets.
