FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and may be used for billet straining with producing intensive plastic deformation. Proposed device comprises male and female dies with horizontal crossing channels. Horizontal channel accommodates drive and driven nozzles provided with screw teeth grooves. Driven nozzle has converging channel for billet and arranged to rotate and translate in said channel. Billet extruded into horizontal channel is gripped by drive nozzle. The latter actuates drive nozzle by toothed gearing. Billet extruded into horizontal channel and gripped by drive nozzle is twisted by rotation of the latter.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, quality, and simplified design.
