FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tertiary treatment of whatever partially fit drinking water. Proposed device has one lengthwise vessel 1 accommodating water freezing zone with annular freezing chamber 2, zone of impurity displacement from ice front and impurity concentration in the form of brine, zone of water transfer from solid state into liquid state with annular heating element 11, separate branch pipes to discharge brine 9 and melt drinking water 12 arranged at vessel bottom, device to drive frozen water rod 3 made up of ring 4 with threaded inner surface and toothed rotation drive 6 on outer surface, as well as disengaging gear 7 made up of tube with circular cutting section. Vessel water freezing zone walls are tapered with diameter increasing toward disengaging gear 7. Note that taper varies from 2 to 5 mm per 100 mm of vessel length.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and higher quality of water.
