FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tertiary treatment of whatever partially fit drinking water. Proposed water cleaner comprises water freezing zone with ring freezing chamber 2, zone of displacing impurities from ice front and concentrating impurities as brines, and zone wherein water changes from solid into liquid state with annular heating element 11, all said zones being arranged sequentially in one vessel 11. Besides, it comprises separate branch pipes 9, 12 to discharge impurities brine and melt drinking water arranged at bottom of vessel 1, drive of frozen water rod 3 made up of ring 4 with threaded outer surface 5 and rotation toothed drive 6, as well as separator 7 made up of tube with circular cutting part 8. Note here that inner wall of vessel 1 in water freezing zone accommodates guide ribs 14. Said ribs are arranged on wall of said vessel 1 opposite each other along perimeter of aforesaid vessel, their number varying from 2 to 8, and made up of wedges with taper larger base directed downward.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and quality of water purification.
