SUBSTANCE: method comprises the step (A) for producing bisphenol A in a reactor in which an excess of phenol and acetone are reacted by condensation in the presence of an acid catalyst, resulting in a reaction mixture containing bisphenol A, step (B) concentrating the reaction mixture obtained in step (A) to obtain a concentrated liquid, the crystallization step (C) of the concentrated liquid obtained in step (B), followed by its solid-liquid separation treatment with a solid containing the bisphenol A and phenol and mother liquor and stage (D) isomerizing at least a portion of the mother liquor contained in the mother liquor system obtained in step (C), the step (E) of crystallization of the solution after isomerization in step (D), followed by treatment for solid-liquid separation into solid and mother liquor, step (F) decomposing at least part of the mother liquor contained in the mother liquor system obtained in step (E), The regeneration of phenol and/or p-isopropenylphenol, and the introduction of the phenol and/or p-isopropenylphenol thus regenerated into the reactor in step (A), not through the recombination reactor.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain bisphenol A of high quality.
