SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of two- or three-phase flows and may be used in oil, gas, chemical industries, etc. Apparatus comprises cylindrical housing with electrode system zone made from nonmagnetic material Electric system is made up of solenoids arranged outside said cylindrical housing to induce variable magnetic field over housing internal space. Solenoids are made up of segments with their generating lines similar to that of said housing. Length of said segments depends on flotation peculiarities and flow rates inside said housing.
EFFECT: high quality of water separation from oil, simplified design and reduced operating costs.
