FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pyrotechnics and specifically to preparation of an aerosol for sanitation of agricultural objects in order to get rid of pathogenic organisms. The pyrotechnic composition for generating a sulphur aerosol contains elementary sulphur, flame-retardant and combustion stabilising additives and a pyrotechnic base - mixture of ammonium nitrate and coal with defined adsorption activity. Selection of the type and batch of coal when preparing the composition does not require its prolonged correction.

EFFECT: preparation of a pyrotechnic composition which provides safe formation of a highly inflammable sulphur aerosol and having relatively low cost and low sensitivity to different impulses.
