SUBSTANCE: layered material includes a layer which holds microspheres in which multiple transparent microsphres with naked parts are immersed; a reflecting layer on the opposite side; and a transparent resin layer on that surface of the layer which holds microspheres where the transparent microspheres are naked. The reflecting layer lies almost in focal positions of the transparent microspheres. The transparent resin layer covers the naked surfaces of the transparent microspheres and shifts focal positions of the transparent microspheres from the position of the reflecting layer, thus reducing retroreflective capacity. Information is recorded using differences in retroreflective capacity between areas where there is a transparent resin layer and parts without the transparent resin layer.
EFFECT: high protection from counterfeit and simple design.
