FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of veterinary medicine, namely to experimental medicine. In order to prepare internal organs of small animals for morphologic analysis, carried out are removal of skin, dissection of ribs and muscles, chest bone. Fragment, containing complex of organs, is dissected from third cervical vertebra to tenth thoracic vertebra. Complex of organs is placed into fixing liquid at temperature 20-37°C for 1-7 days, with further soaking of fixed object for from one to five hours in flowing water. After that material is cut into separate 0.2-0.3 cm thick fragments, marked and subjected to further fixation. As fixing liquid 10% water formalin solution is used.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to prepare internal organs of small animals for morphologic analysis, preserving shape of internal organs and without disturbing topography.
