FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves modeling rotation subluxation in atlanto-axial articulation by removing anterior atlas arch and fixing animal head in neutral physiological position for 14-16 days. Axial traction applied to the animal head is carried out to reach neck muscles relaxation. The head is unbent and inclined to side opposite to dislocation by 30° with respect to vertical axis and rotated by 30° -45° in subluxation direction. Polyvinyl pyrrolidone is introduced at a dose of 0.3 ml per 1 cm2 into inferior oblique head muscle on the subluxation side. Next to it, anterior extremity girdle, cervical vertebral column segment and animal head are fixed in the produced position for 14 days.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in studying morphological and functional changes in locomotor apparatus and neck muscles.
