FIELD: medicine; anatomy; pathological anatomy.

SUBSTANCE: complex consisting of the thyroid gland with the main and extraorganic vessels is taken. To do this, the separation of the sternum and costal cartilage from the chest is carried out. Next, the heart is removed by cutting off from large vessels, the lungs are removed by cutting off from the main bronchi and the main neurovascular bundles in the area of the gates of the lungs. The descending part of the aorta is cut off at the level of the 4th thoracic vertebra. The skin in the neck area is cut off from the level of the jugular notch and the anterior surface of the clavicles to the lower edge of the lower jaw and the anterior edge of the trapezius muscle above the sternocleidomastoid muscle along the superficial sheet of the cervical fascia and the floor of the oral cavity is cut off from the lower jaw. Tissues are cut off from the upper aperture of the chest by moving the knife in the vertical axis along the inner surface of the first ribs. The organocomplex is displaced first with the left hand towards itself and the branches of the brachial plexus, emerging from the interstitial space, are cut off on the right. Then the organ complex is displaced from itself and the branches of the plexus are cut off on the left, a knife is inserted into the prevertebral space and the organ complex is cut off behind the scalene muscles from the spine. The main neurovascular bundles are cut off at the level of the lower edge of the lower jaw, the complex is displaced with the left hand towards itself and the pharynx is cut off from the spine on the right, and then the organ complex is bent away from itself and the tissues are crossed on the right.

EFFECT: method allows to isolate the complex of the thyroid gland with the main and extraorganic vessels with the maximum amount of preserved surrounding tissues, in which the vessels supplying the thyroid gland are located, while maintaining the integrity of the skin in the neck area.
