FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in treatment of surface of metal with quaternary compounds of ammonia with low molecular and high molecular hydrocarbon radicals at nitrogen atom. As such there are used triamon and alcamon. Also, surface of metal is treated successively with triamon and alkamon of their mixture. Surface of metal can be treated with vapours of triamon and alkamon.
EFFECT: enhanced water-resistant and antifriction properties of metal surface, adhesion of protective nano film to metal.
