FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure for evaluation of resource of pipeline metal consists in determination of basic mechanical and geometry parameters of walls of pipeline (metal tensile strength of internal and external diameter), of main parametres of fluid medium (flow rate, pressure, temperature at beginning and end of pipeline, angle of in-leakage on wall and contamination with mechanical impurities). There is additionally determined a value of rate of energy reduction of inter-crystalline bonds between particles of metal and there is calculated a value of power output of these bonds from time by formula Eτ=b·VM, where b is rate of energy reduction of inter-crystalline bonds between particles of metal, and VM is volume of metal in a wall of the pipeline. A resource of metal is calculated by formula where EM - is energy of bonds between particles of metal in a wall; Eu is energy of stress in a wall at influencing it with difference of pressure of fluid medium and external environment; Eτ is energy output of bonds between particles of metal in time, ET is energy output influencing the walls at fluid medium transporting, K is coefficient of contamination of flow with particles of abrasive material.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of evaluation of pipeline metal resource.
