FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: proposed system comprises two spaced apart range finders 1, 2. Each said range finder is built around two pairs of autodyne metres 3, 4 and 5, 6 interconnected via radio channels 7, 8 and 9,10 of mutual synchronisation. Every said pair is located on orthogonal bases to form Cartesian coordinates. Said Cartesian coordinates of rage finders are turned through acute angle relative to each other. Each pair 11 comprises SHF-generator 12 in frequency pulling mode and waveguide circuit 13. Said waveguide circuit comprises directed splitter 14, attenuator 15, phase shifter 16 and horn antenna 17. Short-circuited waveguide section 18 forming cavity resonator 19 loaded to frequency detector 20 is connected to directed splitter. Signal amplitude at waveguide section is adjusted by attenuator 21. ACD 22 and device 23 to input signal to computer 24 are connected to frequency detector output.

EFFECT: higher accuracy.
