SUBSTANCE: electrode of a lead accumulator comprises an armour of a porous corrosion-proof material, a round shunt placed inside the armour, and an active mass produced by conversion of the surface shunt layer by means of electrochemical treatment, at the same time that part of the shunt, which is placed into the armour, has a through slot, which separates the shunt into two equal parts, where an elastic porous separator is installed.
EFFECT: optimised electric characteristics of an electrode.
