SUBSTANCE: system includes conference terminals (CT) and a multipoint control unit (MCU). The CT can transmit speech of a conference site to MCU after processing, process audio data received from the MCU and output said data. At least one of the CT is an interpreting terminal capable of interpreting the speech of the conference site according to the audio data transmitted from the MCU, process the interpreted audio data and transmit the processed audio data to the MCU. The MCU is adapted to perform a sound mixing process for the audio data from the CT in different sound channels according to language types, and then transmits mixed audio data after the sound mixing process to the CT.
EFFECT: designing a system for providing multi-language conferencing, in which each conference site uses only a selected language for participation in the conference with the necessary interpretation resources in a multi-language system for multipoint conferencing.
