SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions for intestine cleansing, which include sweetener, representing isomer of chlorinates sucrose and intestine cleanser which includes water, monobasic sodium phosphate and dibasic sodium phosphate. Preferably isomer of chlorinated sucrose is represented by sucralose. Invention also relates to methods of reducing salinity of substance introduced perorally and having perceived salinity, equivalent to amount from 0.2 to 2.6% of sodium chloride in water, by application of sweetener - isomer of chlorinated sucrose.
EFFECT: addition of sweetener to salty solution, such as composition for intestine cleansing, provides improved taste attraction to solution and considerably increased patients' readiness to intake it.
