FIELD: nanotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of preparation of materials for oral hygiene. Biologically active nanoparticles of carbonate-substituted nonstoichiometric hydroxyapatite are proposed, which have the following: a) extent of crystallinity CK is less than 40%, besides, extent of crystallinity is defined as CK =( 1-X/Y)· 100, where: Y - height of diffraction maximum at 2θ=33°, X - height of diffraction background at 2θ=33° on X-ray diffraction pattern of nanoparticles; b) length L from 20 to 200 nm and width W from 5 to 30 nm; and c) ratio of sides OC from 2 to 40, besides, the ratio of sides is defined as OC=L/W. Also the method for their production is proposed. Nanoparticles according to this invention are efficient for use in hygiene of oral cavity or teeth, may be included into acceptable solutions, suspensions, oils, gels and solid products.
EFFECT: produced nanoparticles are efficient for local remineralisation of teeth by means of contact of teeth with nanoparticles.
