FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and composition for obtaining disperse, biologically active and absorbable crystalline biosilicates for application in treatment of oral cavity diseases. Vitreous plates or frits are subjected to thermal processing with stimulation of formation of crystallization and crystal growth centres in order to obtain crystalline silicates. Obtained crystalline silicates are crashed until particles with size from 0.1 to 30 mcm are obtained. Disperse, biologically active, crystalline and absorbable biosilicate product which has not more than 0.5% remaining vitreous phase and not containing conchoidal fractures is isolated. Obtained biosilicate product contains crystalline phases: 1Na2O·2CaO·3SiO2, 2Na2O·1CaO·3SiO2, Na2OCa(PO4)F and Ca5Si6O16(OH)2·8H2O. Composition for obtaining biosilicates contains, wt %: SiO2 - 40-60; K2O - 0-30; Na2O - 0-30; NaF - 0-15; CaO - 15-30; CaF2 - 0-15; Li2O - 0-10; SnO - 0-10; SrO - 0-10; P2O5-0-8; Fe2O3 - 0-6; MgO - 0-3; B2O3 - 0-3; Al2O3 - 0-3; ZnO - 0-3.

EFFECT: obtaining crystalline particles which in fact do not contain vitreous phase, possessing cutting surface, which allows to avoid damaging tunica mucosa of mouth and teeth.
