FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: raw material used is wheat straw cellulose which undergoes preliminary partial hydrolysis. Hydrolysis is carried out with a solution containing 6.4% hydrogen peroxide, 23.6% acetic acid, 0.2% sulphuric acid at temperature 100°C, hydromodulus 10 in 2 hours. The mass is then suspended in pyridine for 12 hours. Sulphation is carried out at 80-85°C for 1.5-2.0 hours. The product is separated, washed with ice water and added to a sodium salt. The aqueous solution is decanted and the end product is washed with ethanol, filtered and dried.
EFFECT: invention simplifies the method of producing sulphated cellulose by cutting the duration of sulphation.
