FIELD: pine wood chemical processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the chemical processing of pine wood. Method for sulfation of pine wood galactoglucomannan involves sulfation of a mixture of sulfamic acid with urea in the melt at a temperature of 100-130°C for 20 minutes. Sulfated galactoglucomannan is isolated as a sodium salt after neutralization of the reaction mass with a 5% aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide and subsequent purification by dialysis.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increasing the yield of the target product.
