FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to agriculture and vegetable physiology. Shoot growth and development phases are determined in the method. At that, total number of wheat leaves are calculated to exclude probabilistic determination. Beginning period of time of reproductive period (Y) is determined as per morphophase which is calculated by the following formula: Y-X-2, where X - total number of leaves of the leading shoot; 2 - constant number.
EFFECT: method allows quick correction of differentiated mineral nutrition mode, use of herbicides and optimisation of wheat growing technology elements by determining objective period of time of reproductive period.
