FIELD: agriculture, biology, breeding, and arable farming.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of agriculture, biology, breeding, and arable farming. This method assumes calculation of the number of the leader leaves with further estimation according to an equation. Herewith the number of the grown leaves (X) is established as well as the number of the expanding leaves. The morphophase of the leader age is determined, and the biological tillering potential (BTP) is specified according to the number of the grown leaves according to the equations depending the morphophase: at the age of even morphophases - BTP e/m = X; at the age of uneven morphaphases - BTP u/m = X-1; where BTP e/m is a biological tillering potential at the age of the leader even morphophase; BTP u/m is a biological tillering potential at the age of the leader uneven morphophase; X - the number of the leader grown leaves; 1 - the fixed number for uneven morphophases of the leader.
EFFECT: refinement of a crop cultivation process in order to increase the agrocoenosis capacity.
