Modular painting unit with at least one module as painting module for painting at least one processed part from plastic and one mixer is characterized by that in the painting unit there is at least one module for preparing single-component paints for dyeing, wherein ready to be applied paint is mixed from base material of non-volatile components from first reservoir, wherein to base material in module for preparation of paints are mixed with solvent or water from second reservoir. In the method of coloring plastic parts using a modular painting unit, the finished paint used is mixed in place in a painting unit of base material, a solvent or water and concentrated color pigments and/or spectacular pigments.

EFFECT: technical result of the group of inventions is obtaining economical coloring of plastic components with flexible adjustment and intervention capabilities in the paint processing area, as well as colour tone of painting materials and high quality of mixing and assembling various components in place in painting unit into finished painting mixture.
