FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: point of access may substitute information (for instance, data) transfer with "available" transfer ("reference transfer") at the specified time known to access terminals in according sectors. Access terminals may use the received reference transfer to do measurements of location and to send measurement results back. Point of access may also send the reference transfer by request, for instance, in response to request from the access terminal, which requires service of location detection.
EFFECT: provision of accurate and reliable location detection.
