FIELD: sport.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to underwater sport activities and may be used in oxygen breathing apparatus of various applications and in sports and respiratory medicine. Hypoxic apparatus consists of a housing and respiratory capacity provided with pop-off valve and movable wall capable of cyclic changing inner volume of respiratory capacity. The inner volume of respiratory capacity is linked with bite-board. The bite board is provided with respiratory tube with float device being inside. The bite board may be without respiratory tube. The movable wall is spring-loaded and can be adjusted. The respiratory capacity body is equipped with audio sensors to measure percentage content of oxygen and carbon dioxide in inspired mixture.

EFFECT: close-cycle breathing is ensured by hypoxic - hyper-capnic air mixture with the limited 10 percent content of carbon dioxide in inspired mixture; staying under water during 2-5 minutes without use of compressed air source.
