SUBSTANCE: invention relates to continuous casting of strips. Machine casting cavity comprises casting section whereon strips are kept at preset converging trajectories in contact with cast flat billet. Casting cavity comprises also section whereon strips may be adjusted between position of aligned with preset converging trajectories and position of misalignment there between. In displacing adjusted trajectory sections relative fixed converging sections outward, strips are separated from cast billet at preset points within the limits of casting cavity.
EFFECT: billet with casting machine outlet temperature suitable for further rolling.
