FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to terrain surveillance systems. Airborne surveillance system includes ground station, retractable hollow mast installed on its carrying platform; container with transparent protective housing is located on upper end of the above mast. Scanning equipment of surveillance zone is located inside the housing. Equipment can include television camera, laser distance metre - target indicator and other instruments. All devices are arranged on the platform gyrostabilised on three axes and connected by means of coaxial multi-core cable passing inside the mast and wound on pulley to the console in which control panels of the devices included in the system are arranged. Unpiloted aircraft (UA) consisting of propulsion unit in the form of two coaxially located air propellers with electric actuator and swash plates for each of propellers with its actuator is connected to container from above. UA is controlled by means of additional control panel arranged in the console. Sensors of gyrostabilised platform are connected to UA control panel for formation of control signals to actuators of swash plates of air propellers. Retractable mast is connected to carrying platform and container by means of hinges and is telescopic-shaped and has pneumatic actuator or hydraulic actuator.
EFFECT: use of unpiloted aircraft in surveillance system increases surveillance efficiency and provides system operation in movement along irregular terrain or disturbed water surface.
