FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of detection and identification of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), including their ground control stations (GCS), as well as used as part of a space-distributed complex (SDC) (hereinafter referred to as UAV (GCS)/SDC UAV). Disclosed method employs various reconnaissance sensors located at several points, one at ground level and at least at two points of this system of sensors on flight-lifting platforms (FLP) in the air above ground level. Space-time information on their location is determined automatically by means of receivers of global navigation satellite systems and sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, etc.). UAV/SDC UAV detection and identification is carried out using a combined system in the form of the following reconnaissance sensors: a radio direction-finding device (RDFD); false base station (FBS); passive optoelectronic system (OES); laser range finder (LRF); active radar station (ARS); acoustic system (AS) – located both at ground level and above ground level. Control of operation, selection of required number of required reconnaissance sensors and processing of information received from them is carried out by electronic computer with elements of artificial intelligence and database, which itself calculates the type, space-time characteristics of the UAV/SDC UAV, the information control system used by it and the dynamics of their change for further determination of the method/methods and set of reconnaissance sensors for detecting and identifying UAV/SDC UAV. Increasing the efficiency of the prototype is achieved due to the integrated processing of the obtained information on the UAV signals using an additional database containing control signal markers, such as various structures of radio signals (protocols), parameters of pulses reflected from UAV propellers, UAV image in a three-dimensional coordinate system, etc., and placing the combined system of reconnaissance sensors (RDFD, FBS, OES, LRF, ARS and AS) at one point at ground level and at least at two points on the FLP in the air above ground level in order to select a method/methods and a set of reconnaissance sensors for detection and identification with UAV/SDC UAV.

EFFECT: high efficiency of UAV/SDC UAV detection and identification in single and/or combined use of reconnaissance sensors (RDFD, FBS, OES, LRF, ARS and AS).
