FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: information carrier includes heating of a working medium section with an electronic or laser beam up to Curie temperature or compensation temperature, before recording it is treated under normal atmospheric conditions in a negative corona discharge within 2-15 hours at the corona current of 50-500 mcA. The device for realisation of the proposed method comprises a laser, an optical system, a disc drive, a system of external magnetic field, a photodetector, systems of autocracking and autofocusing, an electronic unit of a recording channel and a device of a unipolar corona discharge, which comprises a high-voltage rectifier, an electrode plate, which performs the disc drive role and is also coated with a rubber layer, and also a corona producing electrode.

EFFECT: increased reliability of information storage, increased probability of information recording in the compensation point, expansion of functional capabilities.
