SUBSTANCE: invention relates to producing the articles from the foaming polymeric granules and their compositions. The forming of the articles from the foaming polymers and their compositions is performed in the device which includes the forming chamber made of microwave transparent material, where the mixture of pre-foamed and granulated foaming polymer or its composition, and water placed into the canal of microwave radiation supply, is supplied. The articles formation is caused by the heat energy emitted by water under exposure of the microwave radiation at the temperature up to 170°C which is achieved controlled and limited by pressure level in the forming chamber. The technical output is the simplified tuning of the mode parameters, improved performance and increased product mix with simultaneous simplification of the manufacturing process, possibility of minimising and preventing the leakage of the dangerous microwave radiation from the inner forming chamber case.
EFFECT: products possess improved consumer properties.
