FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: wheat, maize and rye grains as source of starch are ground to obtain a ground product containing solid components which do not contain starch in amount of 20 wt % of the total amount. A suspension of the ground product in a water-based liquid is prepared and liquefied in the presence of α-amylase enzyme until obtaining content of dextrin in the aqueous medium (1) with concentration of glucose equivalents of not less than 40% of the total weight of the medium (1). A microorganism capable of overproduction of an organic compound in an aqueous fermentative medium (2) is cultured. Medium (1) is added to the fermentative medium (2) in which microorganisms metabolise dextrin contained in medium (1) in the absence of enzymes which hydrolyse dextrin to monosaccharides.
EFFECT: method enables to obtain an organic compound and a solid or partially solid non-volatile product of microbial metabolism.
