FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: procedure for polymer pipes electro-coupling welding consists in supply of voltage to electro-spiral of coupling for specified time period and in cooling welded connection to temperature of environment. The device is equipped with a temperature sensor positioned near the spiral. Before beginning of welding with usage of a thermo-regulating device in a zone of the electro-spiral there is maintained temperature close to temperature of pipe material melting or coupling till temperature on surface of the coupling reaches a specified value, where upon welding is carried out under normal mode.
EFFECT: increased reliability of polymer pipes welding.
