FIELD: veterinary science.

SUBSTANCE: method to manufacture vaccine associated against streptococcosis and virus haemorrhagic disease of rabbits consists in the fact that affected organs are picked from fallen rabbits from local epizootic focus, from which a suspension is made, inoculation is made at differentially diagnostic media, pure cultures of causative agents are extracted, separately the culture Streptococcus pneumoniae is grown in beef-extract broth with addition of glucose up to 0.2% concentration with titre of 4-5 billion microbe cells per 1 cm³ and production of 10-15% suspension of liver from rabbits, after contamination of rabbits with virus haemorrhagic disease with activity of at least 10^3.0 LD per 50/cm³, it is inactivated by addition of formaline up to 0.1-0.4% concentration, cured at the temperature of 37°C for 48-96 hours, cultures are mixed in equal ratios, then solution of aluminium hydroxide is added in amount of 20% to the volume, thoroughly mixed, packed and sealed.

EFFECT: increased duration of postvaccinal immunity and vaccine shelf life.
