FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: package of metal bristles diverging from common base is formed from metal bar for manufacture of circular wire brush packing. The base is bent into a ring with bristles projecting outside and ends of the bent base are welded. Further, bristles are laid on and squeezed on both sides with equal-sized circular ferrules, external circumference of which coincides with ends of bristles diverging from the base, while diametre of internal circumference is bigger, than external diametre of the bent base. External diametre of the ferule with bristles is welded. Bristles are cut between the base and internal diametre of the ferrules. Wire brush packing is obtained upon separation of the base.
EFFECT: reduced labour input of manufacture and raised reliability of assembly of circular wire brush packing.
