FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises radiating acoustic signals along flow and against flow at various angles to flow axis. Then, difference intervals said signals cover basic distance in are measured. Then, rate of flow V is determined to define flow therefrom. Note here that signal noise component is measured to extract component spectrum dispersion therefrom to determined rate of flow V.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurements.
