FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: acoustic analyzer comprises a computing unit and a measuring cell, in which an acoustic meter, an electrokinetic potential meter, a flow meter, a thermostat, temperature and liquid medium acidity gauges, and devices for filling and draining the measured liquid medium are installed, the stimulus of the measured liquid medium laminar flow is installed in the measuring cell, and the measuring cell is formed in an annular channel shape, comprising a variable-section portion, is adapted to provide acceleration or deceleration of the fluid medium entering therein and orientation of the particles dispersed therein, including the nonspherical nanoparticles, relative to the fluid medium flow direction. The acoustic meter and the electrokinetic potential meter are mounted on the variable-section portion of the annular channel and provide measurements alternately in the two states of the liquid medium flow: with oriented and unoriented particles, including non-spherical nanoparticles.

EFFECT: providing the ability to measure two dimensions and electrokinetic potential of non-spherical nanoparticles in dispersions.
