SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electric vacuum cleaner, in which the electric ventilator is elastically suspended in its body to suppress noise and vibration that occur in process of the electric fan operation. An elastic support 45 is a vibration insulation support that suppresses vibration caused by an electric fan 21, and comprises an inner ring 66, installed near the centre of gravity of the electric fan 21, an outer ring 67, installed in a body 23 of the electric fan, and a spiral spring 68 compressed with force F, one end of which is fixed in the inner ring 66, and the other one - on the external ring 67. The electric vacuum cleaner comprising a body; a fan body installed in it, an electric fan installed in the fan body and made with the possibility of air suction; and a vibration insulation support installed in the electric fan body and elastically supporting the electric fan by means of a compression force applied to the electric fan in the radial direction, differing by the fact that the vibration insulation support is installed on the inner surface of the electric fan body and comprises an external ring, rigidity of which exceeds the rigidity of the electric fan body.
