FIELD: personal use articles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an electric vacuum cleaner (1), equipped with the main body (2) of a vacuum cleaner, including a hole (5) for dust suction. A fan (6) with an electric drive and a dust separation jacket (12) are enclosed in the main body (2) of the vacuum cleaner. The dust separation jacket (12) is equipped with a separation chamber (15) to separate dust contained in air sucked via a hole (5) for dust suction from air by means of a centrifugal force, and a filter (31), which provides for communication of a separating chamber (15) and a ventilation chamber (23) to each other. A dust-collecting jacket (71) for collection of separated dust is connected to a dust-separation jacket (12). In the separation chamber (15) there are cleaning tools (51a, 51b) in contact with the filter (31). The filter (31) and cleaning tools (51a, 51b) rotate relative to each other by means of a driving mechanism (41) of the filter synchronously with the action for disconnection/connection of the dust collection jacket (71) from/to the dust collection jacket (12).

EFFECT: removal of dust stuck to the filter (31), cleaning tools (51a, 51b).
