SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to gastroenterology, hepatology and anthropology. Degree of severity of hepatic cirrhosis is diagnosed, the following seven parameters are determined: in blood serum: level of aspartate aminotransferase, g/l; total bilirubin, mcmol/l; erythrocyte count, ×1012; according to results of bioimpedance analysis of human body composition: body weight index, body fat mass, kg, percentage of fat mass, phase angle. Derived values are scored, and an original technique is used to calculate an integral index, the value of which is used to conclude on the presence of: compensated cirrhosis, subcompensated cirrhosis, decompensated cirrhosis. In a particular case, bioimpedance analysis of the human body composition with determination of BWI, BFM, %BFM, PA is carried out using the “АВС-01” “МЕДАСС” device.

EFFECT: method enables determining the severity of hepatic cirrhosis by assessing the complex of personified data on the component composition of the patient's body and laboratory data of blood analysis, is characterized by high sensitivity and specificity, as well as accessibility and simplicity of implementation in the primary examination of the patients.
