FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmosurgery, and can be used for cutting of eye tissues or intraocular implants if the latter shall be removed. Microscissors consist of two knives and a handle in the form of two spring levers. The scissors also contain a hollow body and a working portion. The working portion is narrowed towards the working end of the body. The knives are fixed in the body so that their blades project from the working portion of the body. Points of the knives are parallel. Shank ends of the knives are provided inside the body. The shank end of one knife is fixed. The shank end of the other knife reciprocates transversely relatively to the body in a plane of the knife blades. One of the spring levers is working, while the second is free-running. One end of the working lever is fixed outside on a nonworking end of the body. With its other end facing the working portion of the body, the working lever is coupled with a mechanism which transforms reciprocation of this end of the lever along the body in lateral motion of the shank end of a movable knife. One end of the free-running lever is fixed outside on the nonworking end of the body. With its other end facing the working portion of the body, the free-running lever is coupled with a mechanism supplying symmetric motion of both levers when pressing the handle. The shank end of the movable knife can reset when pressing the handle is completed due to extensibility of its levers.

EFFECT: reduced risk of injury rate of intraocular structures, reduced time of a surgical intervention, eliminated a "rejection" effect ensuring thereby enabling safe elimination of acrylic intraocular lenses and others intraocular implants.
