FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in melting low carbon low alloyed steel, in manufacture of work piece, in primary and finish deformation under reverse mode, in controlled flat cooling, in tempering and finish cooling in air to temperature of environment. Stabilisation of characteristics of manufactured flat is facilitated like follows: flat controlled cooling is performed from temperature of end of deformation in the range of (Ac3+20)-(Ac3+40)°C to temperature 530-570°C at rate 30-40 degrees/s, while tempering is carried out at temperature 665-695°C and conditioning at 0.2-4.0 min/mm.
EFFECT: raised indices of corrosion resistance, impact strength and cold resistance of flat of low carbon low alloyed steel suitable for manufacture of electro-welded oil-gas transporting pipes.
