FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method includes selection of a site for assembly of a block-gate, with the rated level of difference between the site and the sea level, equipment of the site with the assembly and construction machines, construction of a temporary enclosure with gates and pumps for water pumping from a matrix, matrix formation. An adhesive separating coating is applied onto the matrix. A reinforcement frame is arranged. Insert cavity-forming elements, reinforcing ribs, metal working and process elements are installed for setting and fixation in a protective structure body. Reinforcement is installed, and the frame of the block-gate is filled with a concrete mortar, with curing until the required parameters of hardness. Gates are opened, and the matrix is filled with water, to release the finished block-gate from the matrix as it floats. It is towed to the area of installation on the dam. Gates are closed, water is pumped, the matrix is dried, and the cycle is repeated to make the required quantity of the block gates.
EFFECT: increased strength of the block-gate.
