FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: fluid medium electric heater is made in the form of heating module which includes tubular U-shaped housing with inlet and outlet connection pipes, upper flange covers into which tubular electric heating elements with current-conducting outputs and sealing assemblies are installed. Such design allows considerably simplifying replacement process of heating elements and provides improvement of the device reliability. Current-conducting outputs of heating elements are parallel combined into common feed circuit closing at control device of heating module.

EFFECT: improving operating reliability, repairability and effectiveness of the device at increase in the range of heating capacity of separate module and at the same time simplifying and optimising the design of fluid medium electric heater.
